Community Pitch is a fast-paced and inspiring event where local businesses, Rotary clubs and individuals pledge a pool of funds to be distributed to ten local charities in one evening.
The concept is simple: at a dinner, ten local community organisations each have three minutes to pitch their projects and inspire support from our Pitch Partners.
As a Pitch Partner, we attend the event, connect with other local businesses and community-minded individuals, and at the end of the evening allocate our pledged funds to the organisations we choose to support, based on the strength of their presentations.
At the 2026 event $87,900 was distributed to ten local charities. Community Bank Lindfield gave $30,000 to kickstart the funding pool.
The 10 community groups received the following funds:
• Kate’s Place - $9,650
• EPIC - $8,600
• Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter - $8,750
• Killara Rural Fire Brigade - $7,000
• Bushlink - $8,450
• Streetwork Australia – $11,650
• St Edmund’s College - $7,000
• Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney - $7,500
• Jacaranda Lodge - $8,750
• The Village Chef - $10,550
