Previous club Wymondham, Norfolk, UK. After Army Service and school teaching he moved into Music Education Advisory work in Norfolk Emyr Evans studied music in Manchester UK where he graduated with GNSM and gained ARCM and LRAM diplomas in Voice Culture, where he was involved with an extensive and varied amount of curriculum development and with directing music performances Aural Training and Schools Music. He was latterly involved with many UK Music organizations. some of which he was Chairman. More recently has worked as a Music Examiner with Trinity Guildhall which has given him the opportunity to travel to various parts of the world including the Arab Emirates. Since arriving in Sydney Emyr has been much involved with the workings of Classical Music Radio Station 2MBSFM and in addition to contributing as a presenter trainer. Emyr currently works as an adjudicator and teacher is a member of Rotary and when not involved with music enjoys playing bridge, golf cycling and watching football. His daughter is a viola player and music examiner herself with TrinityGuildhall teaches in the UK and is a member of the acclaimed Highly Strung Quartet whilst his son works in the publishing business in Berlin.
